Research Interests
My current research interests involve in creating and using multi-modal urban transportation systems models to design control strategies that can help make urban networks more efficient and environmentally sustainable. One question of particular interest is how to account for the transit system and city logistics in dynamics traffic flow models. More precisely, I concentrate my efforts on developing parsimonious models to reproduce and optimize on-demand transit services
Personal bio
I am professor at the LICIT, a joint unit research of IFSTTAR and ENTPE that also belongs to Université de Lyon. I received my Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the ENTPE in July 2009 and my HDR in May 2017. Since I started my career, I have worked on variety of transportation engineering aspects, including: traffic flow theory, traffic operations and public transportation.
I am an active reviewer for over 10 journals and a member of the Editorial Boards of Plos One, European Transport Research Review, Sustainability, Journal of Advanced Transportation, Transportation Findings as well as the Traffic Flow Theory and Characteristics committee of the Transportation Research Board.
