Here you can find a brief overview of my research interests. They are mainly focused on incorporating effects on public transport and urban freight in traffic flow models. These multimodal models can be applied at various spatial scale from urban arterials to meshed networks.

ANNONA
2013-2016 (PI)
Sponsored by ANR
Partners : Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne, Lyon II
Urban logistics is a very popular subject in research and practice. However, it is not always easy for public authorities to have a good support to help them in their main decisions concerning urban goofs planning and management. Although several survey techniques and models are available, decision makers still feel that they need veriy high amounts of data to simulate the deployment of urban logistics solutions and the decisions are in general made by feeling, without a quantifiable support.
The ANNONA project (Aide à la décision pour le développement de schémas logistiques urbains durables, decision support for sustainable urban logistics schemes) is a French National Research Agency project which aims to provide a decision support framework for public authorities in its urban logistics strategic planning and management. |
Dynamic Bus Lanes - ADViCe Project
2011-2013 (PI)
Sponsored by PREDIT IV
Partners : Ecole Centrale de Lyon, EGIS, CEA, VOLVO IT
This project is focused on the feasibility study of bus lanes with intermittent priority (BLIPs). These strategies consist of opening the bus lane to general traffic intermittently when a bus is not using it. The objectives of the ADViCe project is to cover the different areas related to BLIPs implementation: identification of case studies, investigation of pertinent technologies and evaluation of traffic performance.
